The mouse has also a keyboard interface as there’s a proprietary vertical scroll button works only with MS Excel or something like that moude, so could that cause the mouse to malfunction? I have a feeling since the mouse works for a split secondthat by adding the second device you block the first one, but then again, im no expert. I’ve tried to open only one of the two devices that become available when the mouse is plugged in, but this does not help either. My backspace key doesn’t work hardware issue so restarting X isn’t simple.

Add to Wish List. The mouse works occasionally when I left it attached for long period of times and in fact I’m using it right now on the hardy laptop. Or worked as I now plugged mouee out and back in and it’s not working anymore. So this is related to the Agiler mouse.

So I guess the problem is the communication between the mouse and the Linux input event driver somewhere: Moving the USB mouse that does not work, I can see that the X server is not receiving any data at all from the mouse.
It seems to be detected by the system just fine, so maybe this is X configuration problem. Today ive tried xserver- xorg-input- evdev 2.
It does seem to actually work though, hardware-wise, and USB message-wise: Amazon Second Chance Pass it on, trade it in, give it a second life.
